What a Lash Tint Is
A semi-permanent dye applied to your natural lashes to make them look darker and more defined, even without mascara.
Who It’s Best For
- Light, blonde, or red lashes that disappear without makeup.
- Active clients who swim or sweat and want smudge-free definition.
- Minimal-makeup wearers who like a clean, low-effort look.
How Long It Lasts
- Colour payoff: typically 3–4 weeks before soft fading.
- Hair cycle: as lashes shed, new lighter lashes grow in—tint refresh keeps them defined.
- Boost longevity: gentle cleanser, avoid oil-based removers on the eye area.
Safety and Patch Testing
- Patch test at least 24–48 hours before your first tint.
- Eyes stay closed during application; lower and upper lashes can be tinted.
- Contact lenses out during service; bring a case.
Tint vs Extensions vs Lift
- Tint: Deepens your natural lash colour; zero added length/volume.
- Lift + Tint: Curls and darkens for a mascara-like finish without mascara.
- Extensions: Adds length, curl, and density—best for max impact.
Maintenance sweet spot: Rebook tints every 4 weeks; pair with a lift every 6–8 weeks if you like extra curl.
